Optimize, Clean-Up, & Tune-Up

Whether your machine is still running fairly well, or it just seems to be ever slowing down and in a slump lately, your PC can always benefit from a good optimization session with a thorough clean-up and tune-up. Much like a car cannot run by itself forever without an oil change, new spark plugs and engine lubricant, your computer also needs a few different regular and irregular check ups and changes.

As part of the Neuron Computer Service’s Optimize, Clean-up and Tune-up Package, we will make sure that your computer case is cleaned and cleared. This allows for better air circulation and prevents heat build up which can drastically reduce the lifespan of your computer. We will make sure that anything that moves is well oiled and anything that doesn’t is well cleaned.

We will then perform some routine maintenance on your system and unrust a few cogs. We check and diagnose every testable component to ensure it is running perfectly and let you know if anything isn’t or is expected to break down in the short term. We may even come up with a few no obligation recommendations, such as a new power supply, extra system memory (RAM) or new optical (CD, DVD, or Blu-ray) drive.

After the above is given the tick of approval and a thumbs up, we clean out old temporary files that your computer might have around that it doesn’t need anymore. You would be surprised how often this happens! We will also thoroughly and fully check for viruses, spyware, Trojans and other just plain nasties that might be lurking. You can never be too careful and neither are we! We want to make sure everything is in top notch condition and meets our very strict quality standards.

Finally we perform our skills and tricks of the trade that gets the computer humming along like a well tuned car. We ensure that all hardware support software (drivers) are up to date and working. We check for the latest service packs and software updates for all your installed programs. We make sure that all primary and secondary capabilities are in the very best condition so your applications run as smooth as ever, your network connections and internet access settings are optimum (there is that word again!) and that everything is in the best condition that can be made possible.

In the end, you will have a computer that you might recognize as the one you gave us to work on, but performs almost like new or at the very least, heavily upgraded. It will work right and it will work well. In fact, you might even accuse us of sneaking you a new computer but only charging for an Optimize, Clean-up and Tune-up Package.

But it’s ok, we will take that as a compliment and smile knowing how well we performed virtual kung-fu on your computer for you. It’s just all part of the satisfaction of knowing we did a really great job and that the customer is pretty darn happy about how well their computer is now running. We’re weird like that.
